Summary

This page provides details about the ClinSpark platform version & build numbering conventions, and quick reference table with recent release dates. This may be useful while in review of Technical Files for each release. The version/build conventions are followed for all formally released areas of the platform which include the core web application, Agent, SparkPlug, etc.

Version & Build Details

The product is versioned according to IQVIA standard operating procedures. Version number represents a planned release effort in a given calendar year and sequence of releases from that year. The version number is created using the last two digits of the year and an incrementing number.

For example, Version 22.1 would represent the first functional release that was planned in 2022.

Hotfix releases will introduce another number into the versioning scheme, and increment sequentially based on the functional release they apply. For example, Version 22.1.1 would represent the first hotfix release for version 22.1.

The build number represents a unique number and datetime reflecting when the release version build was created. The datetime follows ISO 8601 standard. The unique build number is followed by datetime string, period delimited.
