Accessing and Navigating ClinSpark Pharmacy

In this article you will find some basic information about accessing the Pharmacy module in ClinSpark, as well as some Navigation tips.

Accessing ClinSpark Pharmacy

To access the Pharmacy module, login to ClinSpark and select the relevant Study from the Study dropdown at the top of the screen. Navigate to “Study” Menu and click on “Pharmacy”.

❗The Study menu will only appear, once the Study is selected.

You will be taken to the Pharmacy Management drug accountability page. This page is Study-specific.

If you do not see the “Pharmacy” module in the “Study” Menu, please make sure the Pharmacy module is enabled in your ClinSpark instance and that you have the relevant user permissions to access it.

ClinSpark Pharmacy Navigation

Here are few navigation tips for the ClinSpark Pharmacy module.

  1. Prior to accessing the Pharmacy module, you will select a specific Study from the Study selection dropdown at the top of the screen. The Pharmacy Management page will be specific to that Study.

  2. In addition to the Study selection, you may select the relevant “Site” from the dropdown on the Pharmacy Management Home page.

  3. Initially the Pharmacy Management Home page will be blank. You will be adding one or more Investigational Medicinal Products (IMP) to this screen. You will add the new IMPs by clicking the green “Add” button at the top of the page.

  4. As you are adding the IMPs to the screen, for each IMP you will see the basic IMP details (the Name of the IMP, Quantity, Batch Number, etc.).

  5. The IMP will also have an “Action” menu on the right-hand side. This menu allows you to perform various actions with the IMP, such as Confirm, Edit, Delete.

  6. Below the basic IMP details, you will see the virtual Containers list associated with the IMP.

  7. The IMP Container will also have an “Actions” menu on the right-hand side, that will allow you to Show details of the Container, Add new Container, etc.
