We would like to calculate the environmental sustainability in using ClinSpark, moving from paper to completely electronically based source documentation and lab integration.

Can ClinSpark provide any data on the following over time while using ClinSpark eSource?

• Amount of carbon emissions reduced

• Amount of water conserved

• Amount of wood saved

• Amount of waste eliminated

ClinSpark Sustainability

These are difficult questions for us to address for two reasons:

• We don’t have data on the costs of doing this using traditional paper-based approaches

• We have not analysed the environmental footprint of developing, maintaining and supporting ClinSpark nor detailed and measured the operational efficiencies that users may expect to achieve once they adopt it
