Role: Clinical Research Coordinator

During the screening visit, subject barcodes/wristbands should be printed and applied to the subject as soon as the subject’s corresponding screening cohort assignment has been fully activated. Subject wristbands provide an additional layer of verification during data collection to ensure that data is being documented against the correct subject.

Role: Safety Lab Staff

During the screening visit, safety lab tube labels/barcodes are typically printed at the time of (or just prior to) data collection. Because screening visits typically include a number of ‘no-show’ volunteers, printing and labeling tubes on demand is usually most efficient.
