Updated subject barcodes/wristbands should be printed and applied to the subject as soon as the subject’s corresponding treatment cohort assignment has been fully activated. Subject wristbands provide an additional layer of verification during data collection to ensure that data is being documented against the correct subject.

Role: Safety Lab Staff
Safety lab and dosing labels/barcodes are typically printed as soon as treatment cohort assignments have been fully activated (both activity plan activation and volunteer activation) since these labels typically include volunteer-identifying information (like date of birth, initials, and gender). This typically occurs early morning on the day of dosing. Note that if a subject who was initially expected to dose becomes ineligible prior to dosing, new safety lab and dosing labels must be printed for the subject who takes their place.
