Manage Correspondence

Introduction

Individual volunteers may be corresponded with by way of their volunteer profile. The following articles describe how to correspond via email, SMS, or phone. Correspondence notes may also be documented against a volunteer profile.

Email

Individual volunteers may be contacted via email by way of a custom message. Email correspondence requires third-party integration with SendGrid.

SMS

Individual volunteers may be contacted via SMS by way of a custom message. SMS correspondence requires third-party integration with Twilio.

Call

Individual volunteers may be contacted via phone directly through the application. Phone correspondence requires third-party integration with Twilio.

 

Add a Note

If volunteer correspondence occurs by a means other than email, SMS, or phone, a note may be added to a volunteer’s correspondence log by way of a free-text or templatized note.
