Summary

This article will provide a brief overview of recent ClinSpark Agent releases that are available for customer use.

Links to download the Agent installer MSI are available to registered users on our service desk portal.

1.2.0

Overview

This Agent build coincided with the release of ClinSpark version 1.5.0. A key highlight was changes to the implemented communication strategy with with Zebra printers to utilize LinkOS, which added support for customers to design and implement their own label templates into ClinSpark. Additionally, this release build introduced support for RScribe Lite ‘offline mode’ capabilities.

Overview

This release provided improvements over 1.2.0 related to certain barcode printing scenarios, and, improving support for customers interfacing with Welch Allyn Connex Spot Monitor devices.

Overview

This release addressed a unique challenge observed by customers under certain Windows configurations where printing over USB or network connections was unsuccessful with non-administrative user accounts.

Changes introduced in this build regarding the Zebra communications over USB and network settings are also present in Agent version 1.4.1 and above.

Overview

This release provided improvements to the existing Roche and Dexcom glucose device integrations. Additionally, it introduced the ability to leverage a ‘ClinSparkAgent.properties’ file to further enhance capabilities with Zebra printers and CalECG software.

Note: Starting in this version, CalECG review workflows invoked via the Agent will now default to using the AMPS algorithm for representative beat. Additionally, the ZEBRA_NETWORK_SLEEP_MS and ZEBRA_DISPLAY_PROPERTY_LIST properties introduced into 1.3.1 have been deprecated in Agent version 1.4.1; replaced with use of the CLINSPARK_NETWORKED_ZEBRA_PRINTERS property.

Overview

Patch release to address an issue with Dexcom G6 device interfaces and DST. Additional updates supporting the use of ‘TIMESET’ parameter for Dexcom and Roche devices.

The changes included in this build are also present in Agent release 1.5.0 and greater.

Overview

Overview

This hotfix release addresses an issue with the Microlife device interface. Customers using the Microlife device interface are encouraged to use this build over prior 1.5.2 release builds. Changes in this hotfix build will be incorporated into later functional releases.

Overview

This hotfix release addresses a connectivity issue with device interfaces that leverage serial port connections, and, improves glucose device interfaces in order to gather additional transmitter details with uploaded records. Changes in this hotfix build will be incorporated into later functional releases.

22.1

The release of Agent 22.1 follows a new version numbering convention from prior releases. The release number has been updated within the application accordingly; visible in the About menu, Windows settings, and executable properties. The version number represents the last two digits of the year and an incrementing number, following the sequence of functional releases in that year. Agent version 22.1 is the first full functional release in 2022.

Overview

This release adds improvements over several existing interfaces: Mortara ELI, Mortara Surveyor, GE DINAMAP, Cardioline TouchECG, and EasyOne Connect. It also addresses some issues with the Microlife and DINAMAP device interfaces. A list of changes are outlined below and referenced in supporting interface documentation where applicable.

  • [AGENT-90] - Update the DOB pattern passed in XML elements for use in fixed age / year only spirometry study configurations

  • [AGENT-89] - Support the ability to address subject demographic changes and test updates via EasyOne Connect interface

  • [AGENT-88] - Support the upload of EasyOne Connect local SQLite database files after review workflows

  • [AGENT-87] - Improved support of local EasyOne Connect SQLite database files to address privacy concerns

  • [AGENT-64] - Improved support for Surveyor import workflows where multiple hosts are available across sites

22.2

Overview

This release contains improvements for Dexcom and AccuChek device interfaces. Dexcom devices now leverage updated development libraries for improved connectivity. Additionally, improvements have been made to better establish device time and timezone values for uploaded glucose records, as well as capturing Agent version details as part of device enrollment & data upload workflows.

Note: Starting in this version of the Agent, there is a dependency on Visual C++ Runtime libraries for Dexcom interfaces. These libraries are not bundled with the Agent installer and may not be present on site PCs prior to use. The VC++ runtime libraries must be installed in order for the interface to function properly. Further details on this can reviewed in this article.

This hotfix release addresses an issue with Dexcom device interfaces, ensuring that all data uploaded has the correct transmitter ID assigned. Changes in this hotfix build will be incorporated into later functional releases.
