A container can contain zero to many samples and optionally have a location assigned. When containers are created, a barcode can be printed for the given container.
Add Container(s)
Adding a container can be done individually or as a batch.

Add Samples to a Container
Samples are added to containers as part of the final samples processing step. Users can alternatively add samples to a container via Samples > Packaging.

Assign a Device Location to a Container
Device locations can be added to a container only after one or more samples has been added to a container. Devices used for storage locations need to be marked ‘Yes’ for Sample Processing Location for a device to be used in Samples > Packaging.

Update Container Location
Should samples need to be moved to a new location, users can easily scan the device barcode and add containers to the new location.

Filter Containers by Location
Optionally filter only the containers for a given location.
Edit Container Details
Either scan the container barcode or select a container from the Samples > Packaging landing page to navigate to a given container allowing for editing any details.

Exclude Container(s)
Sample containers can optionally be marked as ‘excluded’ ensuring the samples cannot be added to a shipment. Containers cannot be marked for both shipment and exclusion.

Print Container Labels
Container labels can be printed upon container creation or printed in bulk at any time. As other barcodes, they can be printed as a label or PDF.
