Introduction

A volunteer database may be queried either to quickly find a specific volunteer’s profile or to identify a population of volunteer’s who may qualify for study-specific screening. The following articles describe various means of database querying as well as how to save common queries for easy access.

Basic search functionality facilitates quickly finding a specific volunteer’s profile.

Advanced Search

Advanced search functionality facilitates the identification of a population of volunteers for potential study-specific screening by way of complex queries against volunteer profile information. In addition to the standard advanced search rules, custom volunteer search functions can be built by Foundry Health to accommodate more complex queries such as ‘volunteer distance from site’, ‘current tobacco users’, etc.

Saved Searches

Complex queries generated by way of advanced searching may be saved for easy repeated access and to quickly determine whether any given volunteer meets initial screening criteria for a study.
