From the ‘Basics’ section within the Study > Configure module, clicking into an associated ‘Site’ hyperlink allows for the following actions to be performed:

When editing details about a site that is associated with a study, the following actions can be performed:

Recruitment details are established next, including:

• Recruitment Active: If checked, volunteers may be actively recruited to the study and appointments may be scheduled. Once recruitment is complete, this setting may be unchecked.

• Recruitment Description: Describes a general overview of recruitment efforts for this study.

• Default Appointment Duration: Establishes a sensible default duration for appointment scheduling. i.e. how long does it take to screen a volunteer?

• Male Goal: Number of males to be recruited in order to meet male enrollment. Used for recruitment progress metrics.

• Female Goal: Number of females to be recruited in order to meet female enrollment. Used for recruitment progress metrics.

• Overall Goal: Number of volunteers to be recruited in order to meet enrollment. Used for recruitment progress metrics.

• Appointment Types: Establishes the types of appointments to be scheduled. i.e. Screening, Admission, OPV.
