An informed consent document may be made available for use once all signoff requirements have been met. Alternatively, if signoff requirements have not been specified, an informed consent document may simply be marked as approved.
If ICF approval settings have been established within the Administration > General Settings > Authentication / Authorization module, then rather than checking an ‘Approved’ check box in the ‘Edit’ modal to approve an ICF template, a new action menu option will appear instead (as shown below) and user authentication will be required in order to approve the ICF for use:
