Introduction

When setting up a clinic or study floor for use with ClinSpark it is essential that you can easily move equipment throughout the site should you need to adjust for different study requirements. Using mobile carts to hold equipment and/or supplies is recommended to ensure equipment can be utilized to its fullest capacity. For study activities such as meals or activities that do not have device integration, it is often seen that desktop computers are available in designated areas or laptops/tablets are moved to the area and utilized.

Blood Draw Cart

These carts allow for users to use a tablet or laptop in addition to having space for supplies needed to collect samples. A barcode scanner should also be present on this cart.

Data Collection Cart

These two options allow users to use a laptop, tablet or desktop computer for data collection. Both of these carts are adjustable for users to sit or stand at various heights while collecting data. Additional cart accessories such as IV pole clamps, baskets, shelves and glove box holders can also be added to these carts as needed. A barcode scanner should also be present on this cart.

ECG Cart

Depending on the ECG device a cart may or may not be used. Purchasing carts specific for ECGs is an option in addition to using basic mobile carts or the data collection carts for this event. As with the data collection carts, additional cart accessories can be added as needed. A barcode scanner should also be present on this cart.
