Introduction

IQVIA support teams can add or change /update background images for customer ClinSpark login pages.

Up to three images can be included. When multiple images are included they will rotate.

Procedure

  1. Customers will raise a service desk ticket including the applicable image(s)

  2. IQVIA Superadministrators will add the image(s) in Administration | System Settings | Org Images

Recommendations

There are no image or file size restrictions, however, we have a few recommendations:

  • Use images in JPG format and 1920x1080 size range (actually, JPG is a requirement)

  • Darker images are usually better - it supports better visibility of the white lettering

  • Landscape format imagery feels intuitively better (4x3, 16x9 etc.)

  • Images that are small (file size in MB and/or pixels) do not look great

  • Images that are very big (>5 MB) may slow page load times

  • Images are ‘locked’ at top left, rather than centered in the display. If need/want to display logos or important messages in the artwork, then it is better to have these in the top left quadrant of the image

  • Use different images or no images on your ’Test’ instance. This helps to quickly and obviously differentiate ‘Prod’ from ’Test'
